About Arise Health Supportive Living
A licensed assisted living residence in heart of Richmond, Ottawa.
Arise Health Supportive Living is a welcoming six-bedroom home located in the heart of Richmond, Ottawa. We provide a safe, comfortable, and inclusive living environment for adults with developmental disabilities who require structured residential support. Our home is managed by registered nurses with more than 10 years of healthcare experience across hospital, long-term care, palliative care, and community nursing settings. This diverse clinical background allows our team to deliver compassionate, responsive support while maintaining high standards of safety, professionalism, and accountability.
How we started
Arise began operations in 2024 as a healthcare staffing agency. In 2026, we expanded our services to include supportive living for individuals with developmental disabilities. Our approach is person-centered, rights-based, trauma-informed, and culturally respectful.
How we care
We provide individualized support based on each person’s needs, abilities, preferences, and goals. Our services include 24-hour staffing and supervision, assistance with daily living, medication support and health monitoring, nutritious meal preparation, life-skills development, behaviour-support implementation, appointment coordination and meaningful community participation. We also offer short-term respite services, providing individuals with a safe and supportive home away from home while giving families and caregivers time to rest, recharge, attend to personal responsibilities, or take a well-deserved break. Respite support is tailored to each person’s routines, communication style, health needs, and individual preferences.

Short stays for people who need a break from their routine, or a gentle introduction to care home life.
Convalescence Care
Recovery support after a hospital stay, with the goal of getting strength and confidence back.
End-of-Life Care
Palliative support for residents with a terminal illness, and for the families walking beside them.
